Chris Mayhew M.N.A.E.A, Managing Director

Chris started his career in estate agency in the 1990s, working for a well-respected firm of estate agents in Wimbledon. Later that decade he managed various firms throughout Surrey and Sussex and in 1998 he became a member of the National Association of Estate Agents. He is now founder and managing director of Mayhew Estates. The business deals with all aspects of estate agency with a successful Village & Country department as well as conveyancing services and an associated office in Park Lane. Chris is still as passionate as ever about the business and he is always striving to deliver a better service for his clients.

Thomas is a Director at Mayhews, based at our East Grinstead branch - he is a success story of the training and development Mayhews offer. Tom is a member of the N.A.E.A and strives to deliver exceptional standards.

Matthew Allen

Matthew Allen, Senior Valuer

Matthew has been with Mayhews since the beginning, having previously worked as an estate agent covering Horsham where he grew up and later working for several firms across Surrey and Sussex. Matthew enjoys working in the area where he grew up and he is well respected by his clients, always happy to offer advice and guidance. He now spends part of his time managing our Village & Country department dealing with beautiful homes throughout our pretty villages and rural areas.

Edward has worked in the industry since the 1990s and spent many years working for a large independent agency. He worked with Chris Mayhew in his early days and they are delighted to be working together once again. Ed is head of our training and development department. He spends his time coaching and training our team to deliver the highest standards. We are very fortunate to be the only local estate agent with a dedicated in house trainer.
